Brighton IV Lost to Weald II in a close match.
With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.
On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 12 ranking points separating the two players before the match.
Home advantage prevailed though, with James Woods winning through.
It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 139 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Sarah Naish.
Player of the match must be the Away number 3 string, Sarah Naish, who over-turned a 550 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
